I first gained experience in the field at Britten Sinfonia, where as the Community and Education Administrator I was involved in the conception, planning & management of the community and education programming, and acted in a supporting musician role for some of the projects (May 2005 to Nov 2006).
Between Sep 2006 to May 2009, I was part of the team at Orchestras Live as a part-time Programme Officer. There, I provided administrative support for national touring network 'Chamber Orchestras Live' and regional activities for six counties.
Between May 2009 to Sep 2011, I was involved in managing Music for Life at Wigmore Hall, a specialist programme of music projects for people living with dementia and care staff, taking place in residential care homes, specialist day centres and sheltered housing.
I have also worked in a freelance capacity as interim project manager (Sep to Dec 2011) for the London Philharmonic Orchestra's fusion ensemble The Band, as well as acting as the tour manager for the Latvian Radio Choir as part of the Vale or Glamorgan Festival, Wales (Aug 2006).
I worked at AWESOME Arts in the role of project manager, working in partnership with innovative property developer LWP (Live Work Play) in the communities of Trinity, Alkimos and The Glades, Byford (Jun 2013 to Nov 2014). Following thi, I took a sabbatical from Arts Management after the birth of my two children.
I have recently worked for Sensorium Theatre and Performing Lines WA on a short term contract. The role included national tour coordination for the newest Sensorium Theatre production ‘Whoosh!’ - an interactive multi-sensory adventure that puts children with disabilities in the Captain's Chair, plus project management for Sensorium Theatre ‘Sensory Storytelling’ activities for 2020.
